Please read on for the latest changes to Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE for the 2027 Championship Series season.

2027 Pokémon GO World Championships Update

Changes are coming to the 2027 Pokémon GO World Championships. The tournament will feature 3-on-3 team play, with teams formed from the pool of qualified players.

Qualification for Worlds for individual players from the APAC region is not changing, and will still be based on individual matches.

More information will be released at a later date.

Regarding the Changes to the Pokémon UNITE Championship Series

The Pokémon UNITE Championship Series will no longer be a part of the Championship Series, and there will be a standalone in-person Pokémon UNITE event planned to take place. For additional details, please check the following site:
