Concerning the Pokémon Card Game
2021-22 Asia Championship Series

As we commence the Pokémon Card Game 2021-22 Asia Championship Series (excluding Japan and Korea) starting in September in the region, we would like to thank all players for your continued support to the Pokémon Card Game despite restrictions brought upon by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Similar to past seasons, players will still be competing to qualify as a representative of their respective regions in the 2022 Pokémon World Championships (hereafter referred to as Pokémon WCS2022), but for those who play the English version of PTCG, the method on how to qualify will be explained below.

With regards to holding tournaments, we will be considering the Coronavirus situation, the plan of each region’s government and the opinion of various related entities. Once an event has been determined, we will announce it, so please wait for our announcement.

Concerning the Pokémon WCS2022 Qualification

Similar to the 2021 Tournament Season, top ranking players from official tournaments that uses the English-language Pokémon Trading Card Game in each region can receive a right to participate in Pokémon WCS2022.
